Default What is the next move for the rockets?

The overhaul continues for houston.
They have two very good contracts next year in parsons and Greg smith, both under one mill on player options.
Beverly is a decent backup pg for limited minutes. Delfino has a player option for three million. With, asik, Robinson, , parsons, harden and Lin the starters to go along with delfino and smith as the main backups.

I'd like to see what we have in jones, white and montajunas. One or two of these guys probably won't be with the team next year.

Who do people realistically see the rockets going for in free agency.

My main choice would be Paul millsap. He can play the three and the four and would help give the rockets a major lift when the game goes to the half court.

Lin, Beverly
Harden, Delfino
Parsons, millsap
Robinson, millsap
Asik, Greg smith

This. If they get Dwight, then the whole team are decent young talents on good contracts that are easily movable. Probably scrap just about everyone but Harden and Dwight and be Orlando 2.0 4 lethal shooters and Dwight.

If they don't get Dwight then Harden/Robinson don't seem like a bad core to build around. Robinson is only just turning 22 and has the athleticism and motor to make it in this league. His game suffered in Sac where the team was in no way built to suit his talents.

Best case scenario - Dwight

Other alternatives - Josh Smith or Al Jefferson or Milsap

They will be a perennial playoff team in the West and depending on Harden's and Parsons emergence, they can make some noise in the playoffs

Well done Morey, well done

Since the Rockets have raped the Kings non stop in trades recently(KMart, T-Rob) pretty much if they don't get Howard the Rockets GM will find a way to get DMC for like D-Mo or something like that next season.
