I'll take those three over Nelson, Turk and Shard.

And if you don't sign him to the max you're left with Nash/Kobe/Gasol/trash with no assets and no money flexibility. You'd better hope Kupchak isn't that stupid...

Man, who knew that Dwight was a terrible free throw shooter?

How can people still keep saying hes the best Centre in the NBA, hes been crap this year, his stats "look" good but if you actually watch games other than spoon feed dunks the dude can't do anything. On top of that he goaltends so many shots that are going to miss and well the free throw shooting is just .

Him having a bad back does not make him a woeful passer, have crap hand and cause his to making low IQ plays every 2nd possesion. Zero creativity on offense and hes still easily the most physically capable centre in the NBA injured or not. He looked fine that other game when he went for 20+ points running all around while getting easy buckets non stop.

I never understand why people base guys off of reputation instead of hardcore facts/stats. Boggles my mind.

I observed old laker games from Shaq Kobe era and I've come to see this...

SHaq was pretty bad at free throws, but because the team was in the penalty this allowed Kobe to be even more aggressive getting to the basket. I remember count less times Kobe getting 8-10 FT trips from Shaq drawing fouls. LA capitalized on this all the time and Shaq also was able to make decent amount of Free throws in the final minutes of a game. Hack a Shaq was not as effective because eventually it would lead to kobe attacking the ball once players were in foul trouble.

This laker team can't capitalize on it because Kobe can't attack like he used to. Dwight also has the habit of bring the ball down and getting stripped. Lacking explosion

Shaq's domination on the offensive end compensated for the missed points on the free throw line. When you are averaging 27-30 PPG in the paint, and your young shooting guard teammate is averaging 27-30 PPG on the perimeter, those 6-8 points on the free throw line are neutralized.

The problem with Dwight is, he's averaging 17 PPG right now, not 27 like a Shaq. So those 6-8 free points (or on some nights like last night 10-12 free points) really hurt. Especially when the team can't stop the opposing team from scoring at all.

There is no excuse for a franchise player to shoot this bad from the FT line, dude makes millions and whines even more but never takes a look at himself to try to improve his shortcomings. Seriously D12's fundamentals are so weak I can never respect him as a basketball player since he does not know the basics of the game.

Why do you think those guys had all those open 3s? How have those guys done without Howard?
