Default Toni Kukoc Greatest Games: Triple-Double (14/11/10) vs Celtics (1995)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtX2...ature=youtu.be

First career triple double for Toni Kukoc, one of the most underrated players of all-time. Great all-around performance for Pink Panther as he scored 14 points, with 11 assists (must see) and 10 rebounds.

His last, 10th rebound, came literally at the buzzer after a missed layup from Dominique Wilkins. Jordan led the Bulls with 23 points, followed by Scottie Pippen (must see poster dunk) with 17, but Kukoc was the player of the game.

Bulls won the game 100:82.

Toni was a dynamic player.
When he played for the Bucks it was amazing to watch how the transition of his teammates as well as the game molded to him and around him.

There was a reason why the Bulls won 72 games and it had alot to do with MJ's supporting cast.
Some of the conversations he had with the Bucks reporters was based on conversations of bball and the Bulls championship run , as well was Williams when he played for the Bucks.

Players playing a long time with each other makes a happy locker room as well as knowing where everyone is and will do on the court.
This is why Oak won't be in the finals this year... Harden made them all happy campers in Oak City.

I don't think Toni ever gets enough credit for his passing ability. I remember a thread on here a while ago comparing him and Odom, and posters on here were saying that Odom was the better passer and that it wasn't really close.
If you actually watched the guy, you'd see he had an inane knack for passing on the level of Sabonis, Bird, Webber, etc, in that he saw plays happening before they occurred. Similar in regard to Bird and Sabonis in terms of touch passing too. I can't recall how many times you'd see him just flick the ball on to another player for a crazy assist.

If Kukoc played a bigger role or had played in an uptempo offense, hed have at least two allstar games under his belt.

I saw him as being capable of putting up 19/6/8 if he had played in a situation conducive to his strengths.

As Jasper said, theres a reason that Bulls team was able to win as many games as they did. They had a lot of talent

It's simply unfair for someone his size to have this much offensive skill. He makes it look too easy.

Also a great precursor for today's game. What I always thought intriguing is that long, lanky players like him can also be great defenders... Perhaps one day we'll have a 6-10 player who combines Kukoc's complete offense with Kirilenko style versatile defense. Players like KD, Giannis etc. certainly are paving the way for this.

(Also, keep forgetting how ridiculously stacked that Bulls team was. And how good Jordan was. You only need to watch one game to be reminded, really)
