Default The Three Main Teams in Dwight/Bynum Trade suck now

Sixers last year: made it to the second round of the playoffs
Sixers this year: lucky to get the 10th or 11th seed

Orlando last year: 6th seed in East
Orlando this year: 14th seed barely ahead of Charlotte

Lakers last year: 3rd seed in West
Lakers this year: 9th seed, lucky to even sniff the playoffs

Worst trade ever for all parties involved?

You could say this is a trade that worked out well for 27 teams

I'd say they'd be doing just about the same if they didn't do the trade.

So, in hindsight, 3 of the 4 teams in the trade sucked way harder than before the trade, and 1 out of 4 is about the same.

Still an awful trade for everyone involved.

I'd say Magic fans are content about the trade. The plan behind the trade was to pick up young assets and suck. They're doing a pretty good job of that. Vucevic and Harkless both at the very least look like rotation players.

Vucevic, if he improves, could be an All-Star and Orlando's center for a decade.
Harkless is young and will more run now to develop.

Orlando's GM was reamed for this deal, but this could turn out to be a genius trade.

Well the Lakers would've been even worse had they not traded Bynum, but I see what you're saying. I miss 2012 Bynum though

Not true. They wouldn't have D'Antoni.

If/when the Lakers struggled with Bynum being out, Brown wouldn't have gotten fired for it.

Brown sucks as a coach, but D'Antoni is on a whole other level of shit.

With Pau missing so many games, they would literally have no other center. No Earl Clark either

The Lakers could have gotten Vucevic, Iguodala, Harkless and a 1st round pick for Bynum and been way better off than they are now and in the future. Just imagine this line up

PG-Nash
SG-KObe
SF-Iguodala
PF-Vucevic
C-Gasol

With Artest, Harkless, Meeks, Jamison and Blake off the bench. They'd be a contender and a team that can actually stop opponents from scoring. Plus they'd still be set for the future.
