It doesn't matter how hard you work if you can't prove it on the court.
No one cares those stories if you are a loser.
I mean shooting jumpers in the gym 4am is awe-inspiring and all but what Kobe needs is to think more about his approach to the game.

If you didnt know this already about Kobe or many other stars today or in the past who had that work ethic (and even many who had/have even greater work ethic than Kobe) then your NBA knowledge aint that rich.
At the end of the day all that doesnt matter if it doesnt give results, individually it probably will... but i am talking about improving your team.

It's been well documented by many Lakers journalists that Kobe can go through a day with little to no sleep. John Ireland, who is the play-by-play commentator for Lakers games on the radio station ESPN LA, always mentions it.

To be honest, who cares? There are probably plenty of no name players that do this, even more so. A lot of the top guys probably do get by on natural ability more so than others.
