That is absolutely insane to think about. We complain about wealth distribution in America with the top 1% having like 20% of the country's wealth or something, but even our poorest people have it better than 70% of the world. Think about that for a minute.

Not true when the rates of inflation and the cost of living are through the roof thanks to Obamacare. Relative to other locations with much much lower COLA, America's poor are just as poor as any other poor, sad to say.

Their eating habits are so irregular and infrequent, that when they finally do get to eat a decent meal, their brains command their bodies to store some up for survival during the leaner times. You're comparing apple and oranges here. Obvious he's talking about obesity, not protein malnutrition.

Doesn't really matter though. Try living off $10k by yourself in a year. It's impossible. Unless you have no electricity, water, heat, etc. in your house and only pay rent.

Naaaaaaah. I know people making a tad over minimum wage at Target who have apartments, a car, two big screens, a laptop, a 360, cable, a galaxy note 2, and eat pretty well.
