Lakers also have 10 more losses than the Knicks. Try include stats that actually make it look un biased.
Teams in the East dont play the Clippers, Nuggets, Spurs, Warriors, and Thunder 4 times a year. That alone is a possible 10 extra losses, lakers could avoided, and to top things off, they play teams like the Jazz, Rockets and Dallas, teams that would be in the playoffs in the east
You always make some off the wall statement that really has nothing to do with anything.
How does that have nothing to do with anything? It directly addresses the point because the OP was about how the Lakers would fare in the Eastern conference, consequently playing more Eastern conference teams. Their record against said teams is one of the main things that would affect their record as an Eastern conference team. How is that not crystal clear?
And to the MMM, the Lakers are 3 games above .500 vs. the East, so yes.
Wouldn't East teams road trips out west be more difficult???
When the Lakers are out East they play teams that are bunched together
when the Knicks are out West there is a lot more travelling that is done between multiple time zones.
Not really, just one or two good road trips, West teams have to do it constantly even whwn they play within their conference...East teams still have the advantage because they stay local for an extra 2 games
The East actually play defense, and the Lakers problem has been scoring this season...
East can play whatever they want, still the inferior conference and have been for quite some time now. All tho things seem to be alot more even than they use to be. Lower seeded teams are alot more comparable. Denver is the 5th seed in the West and would be the 2nd seed in the East, Memphis the 4th and would be the 2nd and so on.
