Default Does anyone really think JR Smith is a franchise player?

I'm not sure. It's hard as heck to watch him play and tonight it seemed so forced. He sure was salivating when Melo wasn't playing. It was like his time to shine but he failed.

He's like Kendall Gill back in the days.

There were times when I was screaming "noooo!" when he would throw up one of his 3's.

He should have driven to the basket more or kick to Kidd.

I don't think anyone thinks Smith is a franchise player, if he was he would have a bigger contract

Based on his contract, he's not even close to a franchise player.

I think he comes short to becoming a franchise but if he was to improve on the little things, he could very well be.

He's not bad but if his head was screwed on tight he should be in the running for 6th man every year.
