Default What would be the ideal US city for me?

Say i get a decent job in any chosen US city and had to move somewhere:

*I prefer green landscapes and seasonal change climates
*Hate pollution & population (clean air is a must)
*Would like to avoid criminality
*Would not like public transportation (prefer to drive)
*Beach is nice but not a must
*I love theaters, zoos, museums
*Low tax would be nice
*Basketball would be nice (NBA team city)
*Would probably want to start a family

I am thinking of a nice suburb type of place around Seattle (no NBA but what the heck) or something? Not sure

I visit Puyallup every year for a couple days and it seems to be a pretty nice place. Pretty nice area too. Fife is a dump.

I think OKC has all of those covered for the most part except the beach which you listed as not a must anyway

I think Portland is pretty good. The weather doesn't get good until around May/June. We have a great max system here. There is no sales tax and we don't pump our own gas.

you can get all that in just about every single NBA city there is except the warm weather ones. Some states have lower costs of living and taxes than others. You can find nice places to live and low crime neighborhoods in any of the cities.

Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX

Low cost of living, no state income tax, lots of new highways being built, tons of theaters museums and no. 5 ranked zoo (Ft. Worth zoo) nationally, Dallas Mavericks games are reasonably priced and always fun... tons of areas to start a family. Only thing is you don't get a HUGE climate change in the seasons... it gets cold, but snow is only once or twice a year (and usually very light at that), and summers are hot as shit.

Edit: Oh..and no ocean, but tons of lakes.
