Default Are you Afraid of Heights?

My mom has it real bad, won't go above 1st level at stadium or arenas. Won't even use a step ladder. I have it to a certain point but I've still ride roller coasters and go rock climbing. Still you won't see me doing this http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?client=...has_verified=1

I wouldnt say so, But if you have ever been the penthouse of a skyscraper? Its really difficult to walk up to the window and look down. I got nervous doing that, but not in general

Anybody with strong survival instincts has some sort of fear of heights...

It's natural

Everyone is afraid of heights(for the most part) some just have obsessive fears.

Also tell your mom to watch Man on Wire(i think it's called that) she'll probably piss herself

Respecting heights as opposed to fearing heights. Guys like Petit train themselves to perform the same way 1,000 ft above ground than 10 ft. So in that manner it is psychological.

I have nightmares about heights on a fairly regular basis.

These famous photos of steel workers just unnerve me to no end.

And a more modern version:

not afraid of heights at all, but I do not ride rollercoasters. I know people who are the opposite which is weird cuz rollercoasters can be really high too.

Them nighas is crazy.

I wouldn't be on a bar 8 feet from the ground.

I had to quit playing basketball because I was afraid I'd jump to high.
