Default Could Aldridge fall to the Hawks at no. 5?

1. Raptors take Barghnani.
2. Bulls take Thomas.
3. Bobcats go Gay.
4. Blazers take Roy.
5. Hawks take Aldridge.

Is this scenario realistic?

Ya, you have to hope that the Bulls opt for Roy or Thomas and if Morrison is left for the Blazers Aldridge falls right into the Hawks laps.

I hope this type of scenario happens.

Something involving Morrison being picked instead of Roy or Gay might happen, but if Aldridge falls that would address a big need for the Hawks.

Every year one guy always does. Hopefully for the Hawks, it will be him.

Dude I hate to tell you but the hawks need a lot of help. I think they should trade Al Harrington and Josh Smith for a stud PG. Then they may get someone like Iverson to run point.

They could role with this lineup here:

PG: AI
SG: Chilldress
SF: Marvin
PF: Aldridge
C: Veteran free agent or Kevin Willis if they still have him

Dude the Hawks have problems. If they draft Rudy Gay or Tyrus Thomas whoever the hell is GM of the Hawks is going to get done up the ass by the city of Atl.

Hawks will pick Roy for Rockets.

I think there is a chance that Aldridge could actually drop to Minnesota. Not necessarily, but it could happen. It depends on who Bulls take, Aldridge or Thomas.

If the Hawks get Aldridge and keep Harrington, this is our team:

PG: need a starter, Lue, Stoudamire
SG: Joe Johnson, Josh Childress
SF: Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Donta Smith
PF: Al Harrington, need a reserve, Esteban Batista
C: Zaza Pachulia, Lamarcus Aldridge, John Edwards

That's a pretty good team.

The Hawks would need to get a starter at point guard, plus a backup power forward (say Keith Van Horn, since the Hawks need a shooter, or trade for Matt Bonner), and the team is at least two deep at every position.

I think the Hawks will trade out of the first round for three third round picks in 2009.

The Hawks need a PG (Foye, Williams) WAY MUCH MORE than they need a big..

I hate to tell you but that team still sucks. How far will need a starter, Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Al Harrington, and Zaza Pachulia take you? You have no rebounders in that lineup and no point guard. I hate to tell you, but if you need a point, you're not getting any in free agency. If they want a point they need to take Foye or Williams in the draft. None of this matters cause the Hawks such at drafting and haven't drafted an all-star in the past 22 years. They are going to take Rudy Gay or Tyrus Thomas and we all know that.
