Default Can the Heat go 16-0 in the playoffs this season?

Can they sweep every round or is it impossible for any team to pull something like that off?

No. The 01 Lakers were close but they were a better team.

Hell no, they're gonna lose at least 1 game to the Bucks even.

The Heat could add prime Kareem and they'd still lose a game or two in the playoffs.

That record has more to do with circumstance and matchups and luck than it does with the strength of the team.

Obviously you need a legendary team to even talk about running the table, but you also need a lot of luck.

Plus, the Heat are just not built to sweep, they always relax after they win their home games, and they don't mind dropping one on the road. Just the nature of the team.

We'll see threads about the Heat getting swept after someone like Indiana steals game 1, then the heat will go on to win in 6 like they do.

If they were able to keep up the same exact level of intensity in every single game, then maybe. But not likely.

That may still be up in the air. That 01 Lakers team only went 56-26 and nearly lost the division title to the Kings. If Miami gets the top record in the league with around 63-65 wins and cruise fairly easily to the title they might rank over that 01 Lakers team.

That 2001 Lakers team was so close too. Allen Iverson played out of his mind that one game they lost in the Finals.

I think Miami will win it all, but it's going to tougher than a lot think. The Knicks or Pacers in the ECF and then either OKC or San Antonio in the Finals will push them to 6 or 7 games.

Spurs are so very inconsistent, and always a huge disappointment in the post season since 2008. I think the Lakers might beat them if Tony Parker is still not 100% healthy in the playoffs.

OKC Thunder vs. Miami Heat again in the NBA Finals.
