Default are you taking any nutritional supplements?

I currently only take a multi-vitamin, probiotic, and fish oil. Whey protein isolate occasionally after workouts.

Supplements I've tried in the past:

- Dymatize XPand Xtreme Pump (pre-workout nitric oxide)
- Controlled Labs Purple WrAAth (amino acid drink)
- Scivation Xtend (amino acid drink)
- Oxyelite Pro Thermogenic (the 1.3 dimethyl it used to contain made me feel weird, so I got off of it quick)

The standard:

Dymatize Elite Whey
Dymatize Supermulti
Liquid Amino 3200
Recoup

I have a $200/mo wholesale allowance so I flip flop from product to product. I'm using Xpand 2X right now.
Also trying GRP-HD by BPI. Using it more for anti-aging

Tastes pretty bad but the results are apparent, I love it. I've started to mix it with almond milk instead of just water and it actually tastes pretty good. I usually mix it with whey

What do you think of it?

I've kinda steered away from pre-workouts but might try this one. Not sure yet.

I hated the taste of XPand Xtreme Pump though. How does the taste of 2X compare?

I think we came up with a better flavor profile this time around. We wanted to go with the trend of the more concentrate pre-workouts, since that's where the money is in that category. We also wanted to disassociate with Brock Lesnar by reinventing the look and overall product. The formula may not be as stimulant driven, but it does help more with the pump. There's agmatine in this formula which has been studied to reduce enzymes that draw NO out of the muscle. Stimulant junkies AKA uneducated BB.com posters won't like it, people who are looking for results will.

Just whey isolate, fish oil and a multi. I've tried BCAAs during my workouts and noticed no difference in recovery, so I quit buying those.

I've also tried most every popular pre workout on the market. 1,3DMAA products are my favorite but I had to quit taking them because I was concerned about false positives on a drug test (I've read many conflicting things about this and I would rather be safe than sorry). I've switched over to 400mg caffeine preworkout and have noticed no drop offs in strength or endurance, so the boost from 1,3DMAA is 100% mental. It's still nice to get you in the mood though and if I didn't have to drug test I would probably still be taking it.

I used to post in BB.com's supplement section, and everybody seemed to be anticipating XPand 2X with high hopes for the improved formula.

I have yet to try agmatine, but a lot of people were suggesting iForce Hemavol as a non-stim pre that featured it in its profile. I might try that along with XPand 2x for comparison in the near future.

Geranium is no more a drug than ephedrine, or even creatine. The onus is on the user to know if it's a banned substance for whatever they are being tested for.
