How rare was the Miami HEAT's comeback against the Cavs?
@ESPN_Numbers: 2,015 teams have trailed by 27+ in the 2nd half in the last 15 seasons. The #Heat were just the 6th team to come back and win (0.3%).

Basically another cherry picked stat. Lakers were down by 21 against New Orleans.
They could have easily said down by 20 points. Why the odd number of 27 plus now?

Plus, I'm sure the stat factors in the games where a team keeps increasing their lead up to the end of the game. Still was impressive.

Of course it's cherry picked. That's what actually happened, so the question is "Wow, how often has what just happened happened?" That's usually the case with all these kinds of stats.

I wouldn't say this was a cherry picked stats, because they were looking for teams that were in the same situation as the Heat. So 26, 25, would be no good.

Because this post is about how rare is what Miami did. Teams that have come back from 20 points down is another discussion.

No, LA never trailed by as much as 27 in the 2nd half of that game. The largest the deficit was was 21.

Then why the odd number of 27 points? It's like the stats guy decided on that number because of the Heat and Lebron.
If they picked 20, 25 and 30 points than I would probably say it's un-bias but they pretty much picked that specific number.

I guess you're retarded and don't quite get why they picked 27.

It has nothing to do with bias. The topic is the Heat's game against the Cavs where they came back from 27 points down. The post is factual, not opinionated.
Read the title of the thread. How rare was the Miami Heat's comeback, not how rare are 20 point comebacks.

I'm pretty sure Hawks did that to the Celtics this year and Celtics did that to the Magic last year... nobody cared all that much...
