Default Would the Cavs retire Lebron's number after he retires?

The other thread about Tobias wearing Dwight's number made me think about it. I don't remember if this was posted before.

But does the Cavs retire his number after all it's done or will they just ignore Lebron ever played with them?

Wouldn't it be embarrassing if the greatest player who ever played for your franchise (by far) didn't have his number retired?

Probably not.

By the time he retires, Kyrie may hold a majority of the team's records.

Gilbert wouldn't let it happen. Maybe if/when he leaves.

The Heat are ready to retire his jersey already I think.

Should the Bucks have retired Kareem's number?

the way i see it, they havent let anyone use #23 so its always a good chance they'll retire it if no one else continues to play under Cleveland #23

They shouldn't, what did he do for CLE besides choking when it matters and betray them on national TV? No sane being would retire such a cheap jersey.

Are you seriously asking that question ?

I'm not a big LeBron fan, but there's no denying what he did for that franchise.

I hope they have the balls and not retire the number - unless he comes back and actually wins a ring with them. Hell, nobody deserves "The Decision".

LeBron lead the Cavaliers in major statisticals categories. He's arguaby the best player in Cavaliers history. Dan Gilbert congratulated them when they won the championship last June.
