Default Why Does Nobody Consider Chris Bosh A Center?

I mean, that's what he is this season.

He rebounds like Bargnani and stays out of the paint.

Because he's a pvssy, not worthy of being called a center.

Bosh averaged double digit rebounds before coming to Miami. It's not his fault they use him as offensive decoy standing 20 feet away from the hoop.

I'm not sure it's really Miami's fault. Even if he's right under the basket he's not a great rebounder imo. he doesn't play physically enough to be a good rebounder. Furthermore he's got butterfingers and looses it out of his hands a lot. Don't get me wrong, he's great at a lot of things, but you can tell that he's not really a true center.. but give him credit for playing a position he doesn't feel completely comfortable!

Offensively they don't have a center, they don't want a big man to clog the paint.
Defensively Bosh is the C and plays underrated D.

He is a PF playing center. Miami doesn't play Bosh as a traditional center. Bosh is there to spread the floor and not clog the paint.

Should we be valuing the position over the player? E.g. Since bosh plays w/ 2 other forwards and is the tallest, is he a center? Or still a forward?

Say miami trades lebron for harden and lin, and plays a 2013 version of suns small ball (bosh-harden-lin-wade-chalmers). Can you vote harden as an east all star forward?

It's his fault that he's happy to do it. Some claim that he's being selfless and is doing anything he can to help his team. I say he rides coattails and that LeBron should be insulted that he's ever been accused of joining up with other great players.

Like someone else said, he's playing good defense. On offense he's a spot-up 4 and on defense he's the center. Still doesn't rebound and the level to which he doesn't is abysmal.

Very good point but that small-ball lineup is incredibly exaggerated. Lin at the 3 and Harden at the 4?!
