Would you actually like to live Walt's life? Stop under estimating people. Most people are aware enough to know that this is a flight of fantasy. What part of Walt's character are you afraid people will pick up?

The difference is, there is always something human left in those protagonists, like Dexter for example. But I don't see any light in Walter.

One can do whatever he wants as long as he can justify his actions?

No, I'm saying the show isn't advocating any of that.

Anybody notice how shows from the 50s and 60s featured extreme unrealistically happy peaceful families with very little disfunction, and now it's the exact opposite? These shows are based on extreme disfunction to the point of over exaggerative nonsense?

I'm personally sick of these F'd up family dramas. Weeds could've been a nice funny somewhat innocent novelty show about a suburban housewife selling pot, like how the first season was, but they turned drug kingpin lunacy.

Sure they didn't shoot it to advocate anything, but it winds up so.

But they show obvious consequences to his actions. He isn't exactly living like a king is he? If anything his life is worse now than it was before.

But most of the time he gets away with it right? It could've been a lot worse.
There are ups and downs but he started from the bottom, where is he now?

No you have to make a leap of faith to come to that conclusion. Just a mere portrayal does not mean the writers or producers "advocate" meth cooking and killing people.

I'm not saying they're doing this on purpose. But how people are rooting for Walter is a clear indication of that.

No that's a clear indication of their moral ineptitude, not the intent of the show.

Again, I didn't say it's the intent, but the result.

The ****? YOU said this.

Advocating anything requires intent.
All of this is besides the point. If there are people with a moral compass as bad as your critical thinking skills, I would expect them to be justifying his morally depraved acts.

I said the show itself ends up advocating, whether it is the intent of the producer or not is beyond my knowledge.
