Default FGCU plays how college basketball should be played

Yes, this in an nba forum blah blah.

College ball is always so boring, and these FGCU kids come into the tourney guns a blazin, in your face confidence and are making a statement.
1-2-2 pressure zone-man-switching hybrid. Running fast breaks till their wheels fall off. White-man-can-jump athleticism. Just an all around awesome team to watch.

And they have the celebration game on lock.

Yeah, they probably will lose. Still will be more entertaining though. They exude fun that is contagious. They seem like they love playing with each other and the fact that they are always the underdog makes them hard to root against

The U plays college basketball how it should be played.

Heck, that's why Wade and LeBron go to their games.

The Miami Hurricanes will be your 2013 NCAA champions!

Because U of Miami is the only college with an NBA team in their city, right?

(Knows nothing about NCAA). So it's down to the Elite Eight now? What teams to watch beyond FGCU? Any high profile players possible NBA prospects?

EDIT: LOL, I only caught the upper half of the bracket. So Sweet 16. What prospects are there?

College ball > NBA

so I don't mind this thread, but I didn't watch FGCU. Wish I did now. Seen Indiana get bailed out by some iffy whistles. Just wouldn't let the kids play...that game rustled me. Temple should of won.

They're down to the Sweet 16. I'm a University of Michigan fan so they're my team to watch. Their NBA connection is the fact they have Al Horford's brother (Jon), and also Tim Hardaway's son and Glenn Robinson's son (Tim Hardaway Jr. and Glenn Robinson III, respectively). Hardaway and Robinson could be drafted at some point. They also have a player of the year candidate in point guard Trey Burke. At one point they also had Jordan Dumars (Joe's son) on the roster too a few years ago, but he never ended up playing.

Repped, maybe I'll catch their next round game.

LOL at Robinson and Hardaway naming their sons. At least Dumars was paying tribute to da bess.

What other teams, prospects yo? Who's the projected number one pick?

I'm certain others would be able to provide deeper analysis and recommendations, but teams like Kansas, Duke, and Indiana all have some NBA prospects. Kansas has a 6'5'' freshman, Ben McLemore, who's projected as a top pick. Indiana has a big guy who may be lottery potential in sophomore Cody Zeller and they also another potential lottery guy in an athletic, high rising guard named Victor Oladipo. And Duke has a big fellow named Miles Plumlee who may be a high draft pick as well.

Loving watching FGCU. Their point guard Comer is great. He's probably not good enough to play in the NBA but the kid has some sick handles and he's made some highlight reel passes. He's the guy who threw the 2 oops in the OP and he has a couple awesome no look passes.
