Default 20 Biggest box office bombs

* What is the exchange rate for these day anyway? I would guess $1.25 . I enjoyed John Carter and Speed Racer. The fall of the roman empire looks like my type of movie although I have never heard of it. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...disasters.html

Fixed the link. Was Battlefield Earth that bad? Might have to watch it one day couldn't be worse than Batman and Robin.

I like The 13th Warrior; fun little Viking movie (there aren't enough Viking movies imo). I'm surprised it cost enough $$ to lose that much.

I think some of these producers are too stupid to realize it's not about the amount of money you put in the production, but rather how good the movie is going to be. It's about heart and soul and it is pathetic a movie like Town and Country didn't even have a script before the shooting started.

The ones I've seen and liked are: Treasure Planet, Fall of the Roman Empire, The Alamo was so-so, but I may re-watch it because I was 16 or so at the time.

I liked the book John Carter and I read one of the books where he's a secondary character so I may watch it just to see.

Speaking of Vikings is Pathfinder on that list? Cause it should be.

I thought Waterworld would have been on here, since it's often brought up as a colossal flop, apparently it grossed enough worldwide to be profitable though.

I think people were drawn to witness this misery first-hand, thus the result of ticket sales. If your friend told you he saw the worst movie possible, you'd probably have to see it for yourself.

Treasure Planet is really odd to me because it's a really good movie, it's visual impressive with the 3D stuff put behind the 2D animation, and it's Disney.

But somehow no one wanted to see it. It's weird.

What was wrong with John Carter? I thought it was a decent movie, although the pacing was terrible.

No one cared for it enough to go see it. It's evident when you look at the movies that were running around that time of March 9th, 2012. I think the biggest movie out at that time was The Lorax, which was decently successful, other than that, no one else was going to see anything.

I watched it. 5.5/10.
