Okay... WHAT?

Do they realize what they've done? The market is... holy shit A-Rod is going to get like the GDP of successful small country! Green Bay is going to have to crowd fund Aaron Rodgers' contract now.

You know what? I have a problem with McNabb making that tweet about Romo's new deal...

It just comes off as some kind of b*tch move for him to do that especially since he was a QB and he should be able to relate. When guys get paid, its sorta like their birthday...Im no Romo fan and I personally couldnt care less about his money, but I wouldnt expect another player to pop up on twitter hating like that

Mcnabb seems to be a bit bitter about alot of things since he retired, and its an ugly look for him... he needs to straighten up & have some self respect

there are much better ways to question the wisdom of the deal from the Cowboy's perspective than the way he did it... reeks of hateration

he looked petty

Oh yeah, McNabb absolutely reaks of bitterness in those tweets and he might not even deny his bitterness either...he had to have known that's how it would come off.

I agree. Romo might have struggles and faults, but the difference between Romo & Flacco, is that Romo had to carry the team on his back much more than Flacco did.

How do you arrive at this? You have the same players, the same coach, and going forward you gave yourself a terrible cap situation. Not only haven't you really improved, you bet on the situation to get better doing exactly the same thing.

Giants "done" team won a super bowl two years ago. What has your team done?

i can't see any reason to disagree with this. It was so random. It's not even like he's an eagle now and just hating on the competition which is fine (albeit petty too). It's just hating on someone who got more than you did.

It's not a ridiculous contract, it's just a bit silly to me in it's one of those contracts where the Cowboys outbid essentially no one. This deal gets done at less easily.

How is this? Flacco has accomplished more as a leader and QB in his short five years then Romo has in almost ten. You can trust Flacco to make the right plays down the stretch and to trust his players more then Romo does. He doesn't shrink or make stupid decisions when his team needs him the most. Plus he just came off the most impressive playoff performace sans Joe Montana in NFL history.

This past post season is the only time Flacco has played above average for an extended time...I think Romo is a better QB.

I think the Cowboys could have signed that contract for cheaper IF they got it done before the retarded Flacco contract...its a domino effect that will end with Rodgers breaking records contract wise...he is going to be so rich.

There is one key difference between the Flacco and Romo deals.

The Ravens are paying for Joe's prime years. The Cowboys are paying for Romo's twilight years.

Jerry is younger than our D coordinater

Jerry is younger than Bill Parcells...most don't know that or never assumed it.

Jerry is the same age as Jimmy Johnson...they played football together, that is how they met.

Jerry just looks like he is 90, always has...poor guy probably never got carded even at 21
