Gerald Henderson a bright spot
Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson was once again the lone bright spot for him team during Friday's contest against the Knicks. Henderson matched his career high with 35 points in the 111-102 defeat on 9 of 16 shooting from the field. He went 15 of 17 from the free-throw line and also added seven rebounds, three assists and two steals to his stat line, while logging 46 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Henderson has been very quietly putting up big-time numbers of late, but no one talks about it because he is in Charlotte. The 25-year-old is now averaging 24.7 points over his last nine contests to go along with 5.0 rebounds,3.2 assists and 1.1 steals on 52 percent shooting from the field. Despite playing for the Bobcats, Henderson should be active in all formats while he is playing like this.
