Default Re: Who is the best C in the league for OKC?

I'd take Vucevic. The Heat killer.

Yeah but just think about a rim protecting duo of Serge and Brook. #BlockCity

More like foul out city vs any halfway decent bigs.

Brook and Ibaka are pretty damn overrated "defenders", outside of weakside blocks they do absolutely nothing.

What? No. Lopez is a very very good defender. He's also a decent rebounder, considering his lack of minutes and that he's playing next to Mr. Ball Grabber. He boxes out very well.

Noah or Anderson Varejao would fit their system good.

the answer is Asik then. If Asik + Taj Gibson could work, Taj Gibson 2.0 with a midrange shot would too.

Funny. Now that you mentioned it, I realize that Taj Gibson is a better player than Serge Ibaka.

If cost isn't a limitation, I'd want Howard. He's the best in the game still. Players will adjust if they are winning and have talented players around them.

Pek sure would be nice after watching him dismantle Perk.

God no. Dwight is not what the Thunder needs at all. There's already enough competing for shots between Westbrook and Durant. They need someone who can catch the ball, put the ball in the hole and put up decent rebounding numbers without having the big ego. Someone like Pekovic/Asik would be a great fit IMO. Noah would be a decent fit too.

A healthy Chandler would actually just be scary on OKC. Imagine the amount of open lobs he'd get with Durant and Westbrook on the court
