Default Who are the favorite teams in your franchise's history that you were alive to see?

I've been a Heat fan since I was a little, but obviously I didn't begin to understand basketball until I was older.

I loved the 03-04 Heat team with a young D Wade, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, and Udonis Haslem. That was a fun season.

05-06 team obviously. They won their first title that year, and people didn't exactly pick them as favorites in the East. Plus everyone said the WCF was the real NBA Finals, yet Miami came back down 0-2 against Dallas.

I enjoyed the 09-10 team where Wade was definitely a top 3 player. He played out of his mind that season. Plus I liked Cook, Wright, Chalmers, and Jones. Boston beat us in 5, but Wade alone won them a game.

And finally, the 11-12 team where LeBron finally won a ring. After losing to Dallas with all of the scrutiny and blind hate against them, winning the title in front of the home crowd with a blowout over OKC was magical.

Most on this forum don't have a favorite team so this thread is bound to die.

but mine is obviously Kobe. I started watching basketball frequently the 04'-05' season. So, I just missed the Kobe & Shaq duo but I loved watching Kobe playing. Still to this day haven't seen anyone put it in the basket like he could when he was younger.

EDIT: lol. Above response is how I expect the majority of the responses to be.

04-05 Heat my first team I rooted for after starting to like the NBA a lot.
10-11 Heat were fun to watch because of all the drama almost every game.

Both those years ended in the biggest disappointments. Losing to Detroit in 7... only if Wade played.

Then of course we all know the Dallas series. I hated that season. There was so much pressure, scrutiny, hate.... it became unbearable to be a Heat fan anywhere. That season sucked for me.

03-04 Heat = the fun era, Caron/Lamar/EJ/Wade/BrianGrant was an AWESOME lineup, with skip to my lou also
08-09 Heat = Wade's best year. He was amazing, I thought and still think that he should have been MVP.
11-12 Heat = First championship in the big 3 era, I was there for much of it including at Game 5. Amazing night.

From 06-08 I took kind of a hiatus from basketball, so I didn't really follow the Heat following the 04-05 season until the 2008 draft and onwards. This season I've barely watched them because I've been so busy. Before 03-04 I was too young to remember it too well.

Well, this is an easy question...

Every Thunder team since 2009-2010. Hell, I even sorta kinda enjoyed 2008-2009, despite the 3-29 start to the season. Just because they finished the year 20-30, and you could really start to see just how special Durant and Westbrook were going to be. In that 3-29 start they lost a lot of tough close games, but the finished the season reasonably strong, and you could just tell the future was very bright.

I am a Miami Heat fan since 1953
In all seriousness though, it is the 01-02 Sacramento Kings.
I was so mad at that scr*wjobbed WCF.

I guess there are a lot of young people here. I'm only 20 myself, but obviously I don't go around acting like I just started watching 3 years ago. ISH has always seemed to be like that though.

I'm still waiting for some older guys to come on here and bring up their memories of teams in the 80s and 90s.
