Oz was really interesting as it was based on something I had never seen before, hard to compare it to anything else I have ever seen, good characters and allowed you to think about how you would survive if you were put into that situation, highly recommend it.

Vikings is pretty good, still early into it but has great potential, has some good factual based historical content writing rather than fantasy like GoT.

Adults Swim has some hilarious shit too in Robot Chicken, Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Boondocks.

There is no doubt we are in a golden age of television. A few years back I thought the medium was dying with all of the reality shows coming out. Thank God for HBO and AMC.

Ever seen The Americans on FX? Very solid espionage thriller.

It's about a husband and wife who are covert Russian Spies living in America during the Cold War. Don't want to say anything else lest I give anything away. It gets pretty intense and suspenseful. I suggest you check out the pilot at least.

Lol is this guy serious.

GoT when it's all said and finish will be the best cable show of all time.

Much appreciated, might have to check it out, how many seasons are there so I know what I'm looking for and if I like it can get up to date with.

Thanks

It's 10 episodes into its 1st season so far.

I don't know when the Finale is, but they'll probably run a marathon of all the episodes the day before or the day it airs.

Hey man, I love game of thrones and it's my favourite show on right now, just saying I prefer the other 4 I mentioned over it. It's in my top 5 and being a big fantasy geek I hope it does open up the genre for more TV and movies based in a fantasy setting.
