A spoiled fan of a spoiled franchise would say something like this. LA, NY, BOS, CHI, now even MIA really don't have to work for anything. They basically get whatever they want based off their name while everyone else is forced to build through the draft.

I would not feel very fulfilled as a fan of any of these large market teams if they won a championship.

I'd say Kyrie singlehandedly won about 6-7 game in the fourth for Cleveland this year. If that's the difference between the first or sixth pick this year..

I can see where he's coming from though. Playing to lose must be downright awful being a competitor.

They should have done more last offseason. If they pull this bullshit again next season he's out of there.
They have cap space and another lotto pick, so for the cavs sake they better not fu*k it up for once..

Danger time for Cleveland. Gotta hit another home run in the next 16 months. Be it drafting another star or resigning LeBron. Anything less and we've seen this movie before.

Kyrie has some growing up to do. I can't imagine anyone reading this story and coming to any other conclusion.

The team was actually playing well post-All Star break until he got hurt for the 3rd or 4th time this year and the slide began.

Since he returned a couple weeks ago, he has been clearly mailing it in. Then, he was thoroughly outplayed and stripped on the last play of the game by Norris Cole last night, followed by him storming off of the floor on fan appreciation night, while every other player on the team stayed behind to acknowledge the crowd.

He later apologized for it, after a failed attempt at spinning it into an injury thing.

That was a game after one against the 76ers when he decided to intentionally pick up his 5th foul four minutes into the third quarter. He said he thought he only had three at the time, but why would you want to pick up your 4th in that manner?

This has nothing to do with the Cavs and everything to do with Kyrie. I love him as a player and still like the kid, overall. Sky is the limit, but he has shown his age in the last couple weeks. It isn't a huge deal, but for a guy who stepped into the league as NBA ready as any player I have ever seen, a few dents in that armor is showing.

I think he got a little too much attention and adoration a little too soon.

Do you disagree with what I said? Team was playing well... Was over .500 for the 20-or-so games following the All-Star break, until the kid got injured... Again.

He isn't at a level where he can be the best player on a playoff contending team at this point. The first step would be playing 60 or greater games in a single season. It won't happen again this year.

Then again, I've been accused of being a Kyrie homer in the past, so I guess it really doesn't matter what stance I take.

He was wrong in this instance and he admitted it himself. It isn't a huge deal and he's still young.

Fire Scott and Kyrie needs to work on his defense and passing.

Could be hr feels like he is wasting his talent on a shitty franchise/city and is just waiting to leave...
