Jeff Teague Ė $3,469,568 (Qualifying Offer) Re-signing Teague in Atlanta is almost a formality too. Teague will be issued a Qualifying Offer, although sources in Atlanta say they will keep their options open as long as they can, especially as they try and re-shape the team this summer with a tremendous amount of cap space. Itís highly likely that a team with eyes for Teague tries to force Atlantaís hand with an early offer sheet, but itís doubtful that Atlanta is losing Teague to free agency unless something truly unexpected happens and a better guard lands on their door step. HoopsWorld

He's someone that might make sense. He was able to start with the ball in Joe Johnson's hands so sharing the ball handling and playmaking with G and Burks could work out nicely.

I don't think Crawford has any ETO's on his contract and you'd think they'd need at least 1 player off the bench who can handle the ball if they trade Blesdoe and Billups retires.

Early 2nd round picks should be gold to a team way above the cap like the Clippers. You have a chance to grab a player who slips out of the 1st round, while getting him on a cheaper, non-guaranteed deal.

Jarrett Jack Ė Unrestricted Jarrett has been amazing all season for the Warriors and sources close to the process say they want him back next season and that the feeling is mutual. With that said, the Warriors have some $73 million in likely commitments, putting them over the expected luxury tax line unless someone like Richard Jefferson (owed $11 million) opts out of his deal. The Warriors will have Jackís Bird rights, so they can do a deal with him and worry about luxury tax moves down the road, but there are some economic realities facing the Warriors that will be hard to overcome. If whatís being said around Jack and the Warriors is true, heíll do a new deal in Golden State, but if the economics become silly, Jack could be a quality veteran acquisition in free agency.

HoopsWorld

I'd welcome Jack! They could start him.

Clipps need some young guys on the wing and at the one if Bledsoe goes. Doesn't sound like Billups will retire if the Clipps want him back.

Chauncey Billups Ė Unrestricted Sources close to Billups say he wants to remain with the Clippers beyond this season and that if heís not in LA that retiring is more likely than adding another team on his resume. Billups has been instrumental as a coach on the floor for the younger Clipper guards and his imprint is evident in almost every facet of how the Clipper guards prepare for games. The Clippers will face some tough economic decisions, but retaining Billups for another year shouldnít be a problem and donít be surprised to hear that Chris Paul makes resigning Billups a condition on him signing his next deal. Billups is that important to the process. Some have suggested that the best move would be to make Billups a coach going forward, however, Billups laughs off the notion of his future being in a suit as a coach, although watching him interact with the younger guards heís a natural; he just wants to keep playing.

HoopsWorld

He could make sense too. Maybe be interested if they gave him a starting job and no one else would.

All the rumors are getting to Shane Larkin. Various reports indicate the Miami sophomore is on the verge of declaring for the NBA draft. Not so, Larkin said Wednesday afternoon on Twitter. He even finalized the date and time for the decision. "Donít listen to whoever put the rumor out that I declared," he posted. "It isnít true. I will make an announcement Sunday at 6 about my future." South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Not a whole lot of scouting reports on him. As a longtime Reds fan I wouldn't mind them drafting the great Barry Larkin's son though. His father helped bring me a title

Interesting, not sure why you'd be paying a "hefy" price for OJ Mayo though.

I was thinking about him earlier but he had some issues with Carlisle at the end of the year. Looks like he might be best coming off the bench on a good team. Offensively he could really thrive in the Jazz offense though. He's got the right skill set. Certainly a huge upgrade on Foye but at what price? Could he guard ones with Hayward as the point forward? Maybe not the best ones.

Yea, cost is my biggest issue with him. Don't think he's worth more than $8 million a year, so i'd hate to see them give him a huge contract.

Although the fact that they're looking at guys at that price would probably indicate that at least 1 of Jefferson and Millsap won't be back.

I'm guessing hefty is more like 10-12 mill.

One of them has to go. There is absolutely no way they can bring both back based on minutes besides having the money to pay Favors and Hayward next year and Kanter and Burks in 2 years.

Mo and Foye's contracts could pay for Mayo though. Whatever they do I'd look to front load as much of it as possible or they could have issues in the next couple years paying the kids.

Yea, I figured the hefty would be like $12 million. Too much for my tastes. Definately a good idea to frontload if possible though.

Shane Larkin To Enter NBA Draft

Apr 26, 2013 3:40 PM EDT

Shane Larkin plans to enter the NBA draft and skip his final two seasons at Miami.

Larkin is considered the third-best point guard in the draft class behind Michigan's Trey Burke and Syracuse's Michael Carter-Williams.

Larkin led the Hurricanes to the ACC regular season title and the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

Aran Smith: Word on the street is Marcus Smart is having second thoughts about pulling his name out of draft. Don't be shocked if he changes his mind.

Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Utah and Cleveland are interested in Scotty Hopson, currently playing for Israeli team Hapoel Eilat. Hopson could play the Summer League with one of these teams.

Doesn't really sound like their type of player. Got some talent.
