I hate Nicholas Cage. He just annoys me. I pretty much avoid any movie he's i in. He's up there with John Travolta among the most over-rated, and annoying actors out there.

Nicholas Cage was also in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, if you can believe it. He was one of the stoner buddies of Jeff Spicoli.

His "real" name is Nicholas Coppola, related to Francis Ford Coppola.

*edit: he was also in Valley Girl, which my wife likes.

i agree with the original poster. When I think of a comic superhero, Nicholas Cage doesnt quite fit that role. They shouldve gave the role to Method Man aka Johnny Blaze. Eva Mendes isnt even that hot. She looks good from some angles. Her character Roxanne was a blonde. Scarlett Johanssen shouldve been casted for Eva's role. The casting people did a bang up job would yal agree

I like Nicholas Cage, he's a great actor and most of his movies are really good. I can see why people would think he's boring but he kind of cracks me up.

You'll definately be commiting some actions at the end of it. I know I did.

Nicholas Cage has grown on me a lot over the years. My favorites:

Face/Off
8MM
Gone in 60 Seconds
Con Air
Matchstick Men
Lord of War
National Treasure
Weather Man

His two best IMO were Matchstick Men and Weather Man.

EDIT: I'm not familiar with much of his work before The Rock andConAir...anyone have any recommendations?

You gotta see Raising Arizona if you like Nick Cage, I believe this is the movie that put him on the map, and easily one of his finest performances. It's a comedy.
