Melo was very unclutch today, but Shumpert and Felton were good. The difference between Boston in the first half and the second is the most dramatic I've ever seen. Should have closed them out today to rest up for what should be a physical series with the Pacers.
Honestly, I really didn't want these guys to have a week off with no basketball.
Melo had a horrible game but with that said we look like a much better team. We were down by 20 and still forced overtime despite J.R. being suspended and Melo playing so badly that we wish he was suspended too.
We need to close this one out on Wednesday or things could get interesting. I don't want to give them any hope. You never know. Injury, suspension (or whatever unexpected) happens and the series is jeopardy.
I wanted a sweep but it is what it is. Win at MSG and get ready for the Pacers.

He choked in game 4 but throughout the career he's been one of the best clutch performers in the league. He had a bad game and if he hit at least 1 or 2 shots down the stretch the Knicks would have won the game.
I like the guy but this one is completely on Melo. Rest of the team stepped up. He didn't.
We should have gone with Felton more. He had the hot hand while Melo was struggling.
Glad you said that! Which is why I continue to say giving 8 million dollars to Kidd and Camby collectively was a dumb move.
End of the day, when Pierce has a bad game, the Celtics still can manufacture points. When Melo has a bad game, we're gonna lose. That's what happens when you don't do your job as a GM. We have a guy off the street outplaying our 14 million dollar center. We can't rely on Novak. I think Woody has killed any confidence Copeland might have had. Prigioni is fiesty when he's pressing the ball but once you get it up court, he's pretty much useless. This team is NOT as good as its record indicates.
I think tomorrow is our best chance to close out the series.
If we lose and the Celtics tie the series I don't think we're winning game 7. Knicks would be under huge pressure and I have a feeling they would crack.
So that's my prediction. Win at Boston or we're making history,on a bad way.
