Talking Vince Carter

Is Vince Carter still with the Raptors or has he moved?

If he has moved where has he moved too?

He's still on the roster, averaged a career best 39.6ppg last year, and posterized every single player in the league at least twice. He led the Raptors to a championship and played so amazingly that devout Christians in the city of Toronto are claiming he is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Next season the Raptors management announced that during pregame announcements, every fan in attendance must pray before Vince's name is called and proclaim that they are not worthy to be in his prescence.

Well obviously the kid doesn't know much about basketball, quite ****ing with him lol.

Yes Vince Carter was traded to the new jersey nets for 3 player who didn't even want to be here and i think a couple of ****ty draft picks that didn't work out.

I really think we should have Moderators for the Team Forums. Seems like since the draft there have been a lot of wastes of space on this board.

Jeff, is there anyway to ban users from viewing certain forums (ie. Raptors Forum)? It seems like most members want to have constructive discussion about the team and its players, but every now and then we get one of these tools that just come on to wind people up or what have you.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but it's really annoying and I think it would be nice to elevate the maturity and level of thought/discussion on this board (the Raps one).

We can't make our board only viewable to certain members. If people wanna start ****, let them. It's not like any of us take it to heart. Most people will ignore them, others will play around with them for awhile and get bored quickly and then ignore them. Everyone should be welcome here, and if people are gonna be starting **** then we can just be thankful we don't have as ****ty a life as they do.

The moderators idea is good though, because Jeff can't be everywher at once. If we had 1-2 guys for each board (depending on board number, we'd obviously need more than say, the Blazers board) just to delete stupid posts and threads, that would be cool.

Yeah that's really what I'd like to see. Someone that can get rid of the repeat threads, stupid posts, etc. Just to clean it up a bit. If the person wants to make the same post or thread again, they should be warned. If they can't get it through their head, then I don't feel a ban from the Team Forum is out of order.

Yeah fiar enough btu it takes away the quality of the baord and also new posters will be reluctant to come back,(the ones that actually want to contribute and learn)

I just wonder why we should have to put up with the nonsense and stuff that's written just to get a rise out of people? This isn't public government forum. This is privately owned and operated (I assume) and as such something can be done to filter out the rubbish.

No kidding. Jokes are fine and dandy, but the Raps fam has always attracted a lot of stupid posts that just rile folks up.

Yep, they also traded for Wilt Chamberlain. Last season Carter destroyed Wilts record of 100 point by scoring 529 in a game against the Arkansas Stars. During that game he broke Wilts 55 rebound record by getting 72 boards. He also got 29 blocks in another game, 44 assists in another, and 33 steals in another . Toronto swept their way to the Finals and won the NBA title. Witl had 44 points in that game. And during the All-Star break Wilt tied with Jerome James for the three-point shooting title. And this season Wilt shot 100% for the foul line, so did Shaq and Ben Wallace
