If he's 7 feet and 248 Bargnani shouldn't be playing sf. Especially not when TO has Graham and CV.

He wouldn't play SF. He'd be backup center. With Rasho here, we can let him go up against the better centers for the first bit of games then bring in Barney. As he improves, he can be slid into a starting spot.

Yes but this draft doesn't mean **** to you anyways because your franchise is so ****ed you don't even get a good pick anymore. So coming from a raptors fan im glad to see you fail this year due to not improving, and then end up loosing your draft pick again, congratulations!

I'd be happy with Bargnani, Aldridge, or Gay.
Regardless of who we pick, at least we know they'll never be the bust that Kwame Brown is. Worst # 1 pick ever.

Damn, all this speculation makes you realize how relatively weak the draft is at the top.
There is good depth here with experienced NCAA players but really no player that looks to be anything truly special or even close.

Ya there definitely isn't a consensus like previous years (Lebron, Duncan, Shaq....Kwame
).
However, I'm confident Colangelo will pick the right guy. The Raptors can use all the talent they can get, regardless of position.

If Gay is drafted you know that some moves will be coming in the future, and we know which player will be involved.
I am confident in BC's abilities, and I believe he is settled on either Bargnani or Morrison.

I highly doubt we take Morrison. Just my sense...

I think Bargnani is a given right now unless a trade happens.
The only reason Gay or Morrison are being floated around is to scare Charlotte or Portland into giving up more in a trade for the #1.

Colangelo seems obsessed with Italy IMO. I mean first he spends two years following Andrea, then he hires his Italian league coach for the Suns, then he goes to the Raptors where he plans to not only draft Andrea, but hired the Italian GM and Italian league MVP.
frankly I'm beginning to wonder if BC didn't just take the job in Toronto just because he knew they would get a lottery pick that he could use to pick Bargnani to fulfill his creepy boot-country fetish
