At FIBA 3X3 world champ in Greece, Serbia sent some regular pick up players who strugle to get pro contract in Hungary . What are you talking about?

If American ballers came to Ireland, we'd probably still lose even with our national team players playing

I've played with nobodies who tear shit up like it's nothing. People around here spend their whole lives on the playground court.

Their playground ballers vs our playground ballers.

Would it be a competitive, fun pick up game?

Would it be one sided?

The Euroleague MVP stats are 15/6 I believe. That discussion got my mind wondering.

Say you and your friends you usually ball with, is it fair to say you'd destroy your bizarro world European counterparts in a pick up game?
If they go with that streetball mind crap the Euros would probably win by a 100!

I played a lot in Europe when I studied abroad for a semester. Played with a lot of guys from central/southern Europe on a regular basis. In America I played a lot with friends/on playgrounds but never really on organized teams, unlike these European guys, many of whom were on teams back in their countries. In Europe my defense/power game was lightyears ahead of the European guys. Just playing all normal I would be the most physical player on the court. They had good finesse moves but most of the time I could just overwhelm them, unless they were hella big. It was really fun playing over there.

There is a collection of Lithuanians who live in the area, they always come up and play with each other.

They're decent, but we usually molly whop them when it's all said and done.

So a league that's a destination for old and past their prime Europeans is better than a league that has representatives in the Champions League and with guys like Zlatan, Lavezzi, Pastore, etc.? Not to mention that France has won the World Cup.

If euro players can play in the NBA, there is no reason why one day the USA couldn't catch to France in pro soccer/football.

Football/soccer is all average people in europe have going on in their miserable lives. Their lives are limited to their boring job and going on strikes (world champion is France). Yes the French won the world cup but what have they done recently? HOw many games did France win in the 2010 world cup? How did they do at the 2012 euro?

If soccer didn't exist, half of the population would have suicided. That's the vibe I get in here, I live in France.

PS: And doesn't Beckham play for PSG now in 2013? He also played for the Galaxy at a younger age. So PSG is also a destination for washed up old players? What about that fake Swedish guy named Zlatan? He's about 32 and has to settle for PSG?

PPS: soccer blows. It's for fans who like to throw banana peels on black players.

PPPS: A euro who uses a Michael Jordan (an American) GIF to mock me? Did you know what Alexis Ajinca (french player) got made fun of by Michael Jordan because he was playing a soccer video game? LOL
