Default Was Steve Kerr right in calling this a clear Goaltend?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShxTlrn3LSw

The more i look at it, the more i think it was a pretty difficult call in real time. Why is Steve Kerr calling it a clear Goal-tend when i have seen way worse ones not going the right way and commentators only making a comment about it after seeing the replay.

Bias because he played for the Bulls. Not a goaltend at all.

Kerr has been cheering for the Bulls whole game. Talk about being biased...

Not like that no-call goal tend was vital to the game's score.

Funny. Anyone know what plays Kerr was bitching about prior to the no-call goaltend?

one commentator calls it a block and kerr calls it a clear goaltend. even though kerr is right, he shouldn't have said it like that.
Also, supporting Gibson when he using the words "motherfucker" and "faggot" on national TV when he knew camera was on him just shows that he is very biased.
this is like if a commentator called that foul by Chalmers on Noah a clean play.

not a clear goaltend but the ball does look like it's on it's way down. If you're a ref that is a tough call to make, not like it mattered much anyways.

Looks like a goal tend from the under view angle. Really looks like a close callin reality though.

I normally don't complain about sport announcers, but he was really annoying last night.

Kerr at the end of the gm was trying to spin things in a positive light for Bulls. I don't mind him when he is not doing a bulls gm bit yesterday his homerism was painfully obvious to pick up on.

You'd think in the name of fairness, that TNT would put Kerr to cover the Knicks-Pacers game, and Reggie Miller to cover the Heat-Bulls, wouldn't you?

This is an excellent point.

Sad part though, is I think they did it on purpose to put someone with a horse in the race on each commentating crew for extra drama

True true. In real-time, on the floor, a missed call like that is completely understandable. But Kerr was trying to make a point.

I didn't like the officiating, but it's not because of what Steve Kerr is complaining about, but how officials are to trying to contain the emotions. But it's also not their fault, it's the assholes in suit sitting behind a desk. Let em play, otherwise it'll be another game 2 fiasco in games 3-5+.
