Default Is it a coincidence?

That Kobe Bryant have minimal impact on his teams wins and lose percentage? I compared his impact to the rest of Top 10 Greatest NBA Players Of All-Time According to InsideHoops voting

I counted only the 17+ PER, and 30+ minutes seasons. I didn't count games in which they came off the bench and played under 30 minutes per game.

Here are my results

but seriously though Kobe is top 10 GOAT. He got there through 17 years of hard work. No amount of stats is going to do anything to disprove that.

Can you remove the Shaq years from Kobe's results? Just count 2004-2005 to now.

That 3peat will raise Kobe's averages and he obviously was a sidekick to SHaq's batman.

Shaq years(not counting first two Kobe's seasons because he wasn't a starter)
With Kobe: 285-126 (.693)
Without Kobe: 33-16 (.673)

With Shaq: 292-110 (.726)
Without Shaq: 26-32 (.448)

Middle 3 years
With Kobe: 112-111 (.502)
Without Kobe: 9-14 (.391)

With Odom: 106-94 (.530)
Without Odom: 15-31 (.326)

Gasol years
With Kobe: 308-147 (.677)
Without Kobe: 14-7 (.667)

With Gasol: 257-112 (.696)
Without Gasol: 35-26 (.574)

Sooo, it's pretty obvious that Kobe was never the MVP of the Lakers

Cool. Your stats disagree with every person who has ever played professional basketball. I trust LeBron's, Shaq's, Magic's, MJ's, Jerry West's, etc., opinions more than your stats.

People agree that Kobe is one of the best of all time. What this stats shows is that Kobe is not as dominate as a player like Shaq or LeBron as far as facilitating goes. What Kobe gives his team is scoring, while Shaq and LeBron gives their team a anchor.

Ok, then keep living in delusion.

Kobe is all media hype, everbyody wanted a new Jordan so the media make Kobe what he is now. He was never valuable to the Lakers as much as Shaq/Odom/Gasol, replace Kobe with prime Ray Allen or any other good SG and the Lakers still win 5 championships, maybe even more.
