One of the greatest point guards to ever play the game. Sad to see it end.

. Sign Copeland with the Biannual exception and promise him a bigger contract when Knicks have his bird rights.

. Trade Chandler, get the most value possible back, it can't be that hard, remember that next season the 90% floor cap kicks in, team have to spend.

. Get Mozzie back. If Woodson made Amare look adequate on defense he can turn Mozzie into DPOY. He is younger, taller, much faster and better offensive player than Chandler, and cheaper...

. Trade Novak for a second round pick

. Do not trade Amare, it will be impossible after his last two seasons to get fair value back, Knicks will do better to keep him, and pray he doesn't get hurt again. Nice to see he is going back to Hakeem.

. Resign Prigi and Kmart and Jr, use pick and mid level exception wisely, between them and assets from the Chandler trade. Knicks should end up with a better roster.

. Summer training for Melo: Layups while taking contact.

Only teams teams under the cap have the BAE, and you can't knowingly make a promise to sign, besides by them Cope would be 30-31, certainly not worth any bigger money.

No issues here, although Mozgov cannot be our starting center, and unless he accepts a min salary we can't afford him.

Copeland has to be included in this bracket and unless these guys accept their QO or min salsry that mini mle will have to be used to match deals in Pablo and Cope case.

K-Mart is not accepting minimum, he's gone to the highest contract.

Jerome Jordan is back for his 3rd stint as a Knick

Quote:

Former Knicks center Jerome Jordan will play on their summer league team in Las Vegas this July, his agent, Todd Ramasar, confirmed with ESPNNewYork.com.

Jordan will also play on the Pacers' summer league team in Orlando.

The 26-year-old appeared in 21 games with the Knicks in 2011-12, averaging two points and 1.3 rebounds in about five minutes of action. He was then traded on July 11, 2012, along with Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson and a second-round pick in 2014 and 2015, for Marcus Camby.

Because of the deal, Jordan couldn't re-sign with the Knicks until this July. Under CBA rules, players who are traded and subsequently waived can't re-sign with the team that traded them for one year or until the end date of their contract.

Somebody in the front office is trying to justify drafting him.

2013 Owe second-rounder to Washington Wizards (Tyson Chandler, three-way deal with Dallas Mavericks).
2014 Owe first-rounder to Denver Nuggets (Carmelo Anthony).
2014 Owe second-rounder to the Houston Rockets (Marcus Camby).
2014 Owed second-rounder (top-55 protected) from Sacramento Kings (via Boston Celtics, Nate Robinson).
2014 Owed second-rounder (protections TBD) from Oklahoma City Thunder (Ronnie Brewer).

So let me get this right...
So the Knicks only have MLE of $3 million 3 year option?
