The only problem waiting past July 10 is guys will have offers while the Knicks have shown interest. I do think they put their eggs in 1 basket and when it doesnt come to fruition they make panic moves.
The Knicks tried out old ass raja bell, and as always used their favorite word interested.
Raja Bell would actually be an okay signing. I've actually played with him a few times at Wolf Hill park in Melville (for those who are familiar with Long Island), cool guy. He comes out every summer for a couple of weeks at a time, been seeing him here at least 4-5 years now. I mean for what they'd offer him, can't go wrong.
We're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now but here's a few guys I'd take a look at:
Cartier Martin Alan Anderson Gary Neal
Tyler Hansbrough (probably out of our price range)
Alan Anderson can really score. While he played in Croatia he was by far the best player in the league and if I'm right he light us up last year when he was playing on the Raptors.
Getting this guy for the minimum would be great.
Anthony Morrow agreed to a two-year deal at the veteran's minimum with the Pelicans on Tuesday.
He'll add some bench scoring to the Pelicans and could be a secondary contributor in 3-pointers behind Ryan Anderson. Morrow is a career 42.4 percent shooter from downtown.
