My dad came up with an interesting potential trade today. Al Jefferson and Randy Foye are free agents. Why not do a Jefferson and Foye for Chandler, Novak and Kidd trade? Sign a decent Center who can play some defense like Nazir Mohamed, Brandon Wright or Samuel Dalembert. Draft a big man like Gorgui Dieng. All hypothetcial of course.
Bro there is no way in the world that trade happens without pictures of the gm with thailand boys

I'd like to pick up Jonny Flynn on the cheap. All the reports say his body is back to full capacity and people in Minnesota and Houston are saying the friction with Kurt Rambis and Kevin McHale was not 100% Flynn's fault.

The Knicks could probably bring him back for less than $1m per year.

hypothetically, if we can land that trade, wud the lakers take amare for gasol?

gasol
melo
shved? (convert him to sg, or find a guard in the draft)
felton
Kevin love would be perfect. They wouldn't throw shved in there but I don't think minnisota still accepts shumpert and chandler for love

Unfortunately, this is the first year under the CBA where sign & trades are prohibited for teams in the Luxury Tax.

But I wouldn't mind Jeffries as a 15th man. We can't keep bringing him back as a rotation player.

Jeffries is a solid guy to have on Defense. He has a great ability to draw the charge.

I much rather have Barron on this team, but the poor guy can't seem to secure a roster spot. Barron has good offensive skills.

I don't think there is a Reggie Evans type impact fa big the Knicks can grab for under 3 mill.

The gamble I would take for a reserve big is fesenko

It's all about trades- torontos coming after prigioni and copeland right?

I'd rather Jermaine than Jared. He at least had a decent year last year. The Knicks organization and fans are the only team that seems to think Jared Jeffries can play.

Gorgui Dieng is going to be a non-factor in the NBA.

Kevin Love is not leaving Minnesota any time soon; and if he does it will be for draft picks and/or young players. I think you guys are too focused on unrealistic "homerun" moves.

This team needs to be looking at free agent guys who have ability but have seen the status within the league take a dip. Guys like Devin Harris, Will Bynum, Jose Calderon, Gerald Henderson, Marco Bellinelli, Kevin Martin, JJ Redick, Randy Foye, Al-Farouq Aminu, DeJuan Blair, Paul Millsap, JJ Hickson, Timofey Mozgov, etc.

See if the club can use JR Smith playing his way into a lucrative long term deal, likely with another team, into one or two under-valued free agents signing to play their way into better contracts.
