Although the report from the Defense Science Board did not identify the hackers, senior military and industry officials with knowledge of the breaches say they come primarily from China, according to Ellen Nakashima of the Post.
A public version of the report released in January warned of an “existential cyber attack” with “potentially spectacular” effects.
Some of the more disturbing leaks include designs for cutting edge jets, missile systems, and electronic warfare technology.
Here’s a partial list of compromised designs:

Re: Chinese hackers hack US, Steals Plans for More Than Two Dozen Weapons
this issue is not as much of a joke as some people may take it on first glance.
the chinese army has an entire dept dedicated to nothing but hacking companies and govts around the world. that dept is only growing in proficiency and power from articles i've read. the chinese apparently are far and away the biggest cyberterrorists in the world, with more change and instability in that country than they've had for a long time. so, you know... there's some x-factors in terms of where they want to take this.
the 'ABC' agencies are no doubt attempting to monitor and access other govts online as is their way... but by and large the desirability of that target info probably pales in compaison to the desirability of the technology and fiscal resources of the US and europe, for example.
it's a big problem and much bigger potential threat, and i don't get the sense lawmakers understand it very well, yet. US security is barely keeping ahead from what i've read. companies are getting hacked on a regular basis. chinese govt just responds in their usual alfred e. neuman way.
