to help, just imagine 100 cm is not far from a yard in length, or 30 cm is close to a foot.
anyway, I'm praying for more snow here, I haven't had enough lately. I went camping twice in the past month and both times I was dealing with only about a foot of snow on the ground, which isn't enough to build a good shelter with, so I had to sleep basically out in the open (well with a Wigwam of boughs over my head) in -35 degree temperatures. As soon as we get more snow I'm going back out, building a proper insulated winter shelter and living like a King.
You guys know that the metric system is about 5164+12+4+41+161343213131 times better than our system, right?
It's ridiculous that we haven't made the switch.
Yeah who would have thought a system with base-10 could make so much sense. I mean water freezes at 0, it boils at 100, there are 100cm in a metre, 10 mm in a cm, 1000m in a km, etc. It's too complicated to imagine, I demand a return to the system of 3132oz in a jug and 33 jugs in a bushel or a peck or whatever the fudge it is.
Yeah what a stupid system we have here
