will be the best player out of this draft. I can understand why some teams are scared to pick him, but at the same time I don't see any other players with Rudy Gays skill level & athletic ability.
You say, well what about his stats in college...not elite quality. I buy the whole deal about Gay being on a team with three other possible first-round picks and Rudy deferring to the older guys. It happens.
Whoever drafts this guy will reap the glory in two years. We'll see glimpses in his first two years of what will be of a regular after his third season. Between season two & three he'll start to become more consistent with his numbers.
Shiit, I hope Portland grabs Rudy and Thomas.
