Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 2m
Pacers push to swap Gerald Green and No. 23 for Jimmer just got a little more realistic. Larry Bird loved Jimmer in 2011 Draft.

That's a terrible trade for Indy if it goes down.

I think Len's going to be and should be number one. He's refined on the block offensively, is a good offensive rebounder, and has excellent size. He reminds me a lot of a younger Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He's the ideal complement to Irving, Waiters, and Thompson.

I'll have my mock draft up tomorrow.

I think Tony Mitchell is gonna surprise a lot of people next year. He was a top 10 pick last year and mainly dropped down the board this year because of going to such a small college and the coaching change. His offensive game did regress a bit but he has crazy measurements and is super athletic.

9 guys that didn't even enter the draft.

Adams, KCP, Noel, Len, McCollum, maybe Porter all about where they should go.

You'd have to be extremely lucky to get an impactful player, let alone one that regularly gets in the rotation, in the 2nd round.

Why would the Pels draft Bennett with Burke still on the board? Power Forward is our deepest position and Bennett is a power forward.

Bennett has already guaranteed he's going top 6 on Twitter. If he was gonna get drafted by another team, like the Bobcats, he would've said he's going in the top 4. I just think that if Bennett's still on the board, the Pels will see he's too good to pass up and move on with Vasquez as their PG.

It appears Alex Len is going out with a 6 ft. 7 in. black ladies basketball player called Essence Townsend.

Jimmer's contract has a team option after next year. So this could be a real frugal minded move considering Green doesn't see the court for them and makes 3.5mil the next two seasons. I could see it as a positive because jimmer can make open jumpers so he has at least some value and you can save a few million dumping Green.

Dumb trade though. #23 could be a solid rotation player especially with bird back making decisions. The team needs depth not a one trick pony.
