You're white washing history.

Anyone that thinks 2013 Duncan was better then 1998 Malone clearly has no knowledge of that era and should not be talking about Jordan's Bulls at all.

Jordan basically sealed the deal for that title on his own.

Just like Ginobili did in game five?

Great insight.

Here was the age of their three best players in 1998:

Jeff Hornacek 35
John Stockton 37
Karl Malone 35

Keep up the good work pal!

This should've been a pretty easy title run though for the Heat, no Derrick Rose, no Danny Granger crippled their two toughest opponents in the East, and the Spurs were a much older group, LeBron/Bosh should be in their prime right now and Wade should not be far off based on age.

Of the the last few "dynasty" teams (Pistons, Bulls, Lakers, Spurs, now Heat), this would have to be the easiest path to the Finals.

Duncan is much better post player, Malone lived off the pick and roll with stockon.

Malone was good but Ducans better.

From the Malone generation, I rate Barkley higher.

Ummm, we aren't talking about their careers or their primes. Clearly Duncan is better then. But 1998 Malone is clearly better then 2013 Duncan. Its not really close. One was the MVP in the previous season, while the other wasn't an all-star the year before. Its not a knock on Duncan. Malone was still in his prime at this point, while Duncan has been a shell of himself.

Ok OP, you don't need to make a topic to praise lebron. He got finals MVP, all the credit, and the media is treating him like he won in cleveland with a bunch of scrubs. What do you think he needs?? More ball sucking???

By the way, the reality is that he was 2 offensive rebounds and a bail out shot by ray allen from being called a choker for his overall finals performance, his turnovers and missed shots in the end of 4th quarter in game 6.

He erased all this by his game 7 performance, but that was the truth.

1-LeBron put Derrick Rose over his knee and spanked him last time they met in the playoffs.

2-No Granger allowed Paul George to develop, and Granger will be gone, so will you use this excuse again next year?

3-So what we saw was prime Bosh?

4-The D-Wade we saw was 'not far off' the Finals MVP D-Wade?

Sounds to me like someone is a bit full of shit.

Wade just put up 15/6 in the playoffs. 14/6 and 12.6/5 in two entire series.

Pippen was better than Wade is now by 1989. Now...you can say Wade is injured...and id not argue. But bottom line...he didnt actually do very much and unlike Pippen hes a better offensive player than defensive.

All things considered...id take pre champion Pippen over the Wade we just saw straight up chilling half the time.

This pippen:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtc_aFpTs0k

over injured or whatever the hell is wrong with him wade...no second thoughts.

Not that that has anything to do with Jordan vs Lebron which...isnt really a question.

Jordan s team was obviously better. He had better 2nd and 3rd options. Wade and Bosh were mediocre in these playoffs. He had better defense, rebounding around him. He had less flaws in his team. If Lebron s team is stacked, his team is super super stacked.

Jordan was surrounded by better players.

Teams weren't allowed to jam the key in Jordan's day like they are today with zone and complex defenses.

Also, LeBron is the first Twitter era superstar, every moment will be scrutinized, no one else had to deal with this.

Magic choked away 1984 championship,
Bird came up short,
Kareem was made to look ridiculous,
Hakeem (well he was Akeem then) looked like he lacked effort in '86,
Shaq ate himself out of championships,
Wilt never fulfilled his potential,
Kobe, well we all witnessed those...

Bottom line, the hate needs to stop, the guy had back to back 30 plus games against the best organization of the millennium to this point down three-two.

He's a winner and he isn't done.

lol back then you could camp under the basket.these days u cannot with the idiotic illegal defense rules and 3 sec violation or the 5 sec back to the basket..wtf

"Realities about LeBron's 2013 Championship Run"

He just got his second ring and instead of piling on the "Lebron can become the GOAT" of two years ago, everyone is jumping of that bandwagon, and now not even TOP5.

How sad is that? It speaks volume that he finally wins and his goat value goes down.

And all this "second option" thing, how about the third option? And the Fourth option? And the fifth option? and the Sixth option? etc..

How come people praise Wade for accepting the robin role, and then prop up Lebron because he is playing not with a humble superstar that accepts the robin role, but with a crappy second option? How does that work?

How about an Injured Wade carrying the Heat in the Finals while Lebron was only seen in garbage time?

The lengths people go to overrated Lebron, it's sickening, "We da Bess" turned into "We da Underdogs" It's unbelievable, but it happened... dat lebron Jizz.
