Default If the Spurs do let Manu go, I'd love to see them get Steve Nash.

Have Nash come in and replace Ginobili in the 6th man role. If the Spurs are able to sign Dwight Howard (as rumored yesterday) or even if they make an upgrade and get Paul Milsap, I'd love to see Nash on the Spurs.

C: Dwight Howard
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: Leonard
SG: Green
PG: Parker

6th man: Steve Nash

Are you looking at having Steve Nash play like 8-10 minutes a night? Because that's the only way it's going to work. Tony Parker is not going to stay on the bench long.

Manu played better than nash this year. Nash can be a good spot-up shooter who can create doubt in defense's mind by driving to the rim and kicking a few times.Manu can still penetrate the paint better than nash though.

Nash was injured. If Nash stays healthy he's a better player than Ginobili. He can also really give Parker some rest so they don't have to rely on him playing so many minutes a game.

Nash is going to be hurt for the rest of his career. He is injured like bird was at the end of his career. He is lying on his back during every time-out and when he is on the bench like bird used to. You can't bounce back from these kind of injuries.

Prior to this season he was still leading the Suns. Yes, I agree he's banged up. It's why he can't be expected to be a starter anymore and play starter minutes. But put him in a 6th man role on a team like the Spurs and he'll be really good.

Nash is DONE. He's like 40 years old. He's not going to be a good contributor any longer. He's always going to be dealing with injury.

Yeah, that makes sense how? Parker isn't old and washed up. Duncan didn't play old and washed up at all. And I said get rid of Ginobili. Bring in Nash who won't make stupid decisions and turn the ball over so many times like Manu did. And he can play back up for Tony Parker. Also, he had ONE bad season due to injuries. In 2011/2012 he was still the best player on the Suns. If he's playing reduced minutes as a back up and he's healthy I don't see any reason he can't contribute.

I fail to see how those pictures are relevant to this discussion at all.

As a Lakers fan I'd fully support this. Nash for Leonard

I'd like to see them get one of the second-tier point guards i.e. Calderon, or Vasquez, maybe Hinrich. Wouldn't cost too much, and all have the bball IQ to play within Pop's structure

Haha. More like a future second round pick for Nash.
