Listen to yourself. Duncan, Parker and Ginobili joined forces, how is that so different than Garnett, Ray Allen, Pierce joining forces any different from Lebron, Bosh and Wade? People act like Lebron was the first to join up with other players. Even Malone and Payton did it. Only idiots diminish the championship wins because they teamed up with good players or players got hurt that season and it needs some kind of asterisk. Hello, injuries have happened since the beginning of the game. Does that mean every year should have an asterisk? "b-b-but it was big stars..." F-king Idiots.

How to the fck did they join forces when they all were drafted by the spurs Also i didn't know tony parker and manu were expected to be stars coming into the league. Lebron will bless you in the afterlife for defending him on ish

and? do you realize that drafting and signing free agents and trading for players are all part of the NBA. Are you saying that drafting is the only "right" way?

Miami traded picks to get Bron and Bosh. What makes it the wrong way?

We won. 2 in a row. If anything, this way is the right way. 3 seasons, 3 finals. How is it wrong?

Who said anything about right or wrong? You can't compare star players joining a team to drafting foreign kids. You should be quoting the person who said the Spurs joined forces, not me.

Right, did they not take less money to stay together?

Duncan landed on a 50 win team essentially straight out of college. David Robinson out injured the whole season comes back next season and puts on a 22/11 season in a limited 33mpg.
His supporting cast was as good as any in his first and second championship run.
As for his 4th, he went against a Cavs team who has to be by far the worst team in recent history to get into the finals.

So what really makes his titles any more the impressive?
In just his 2nd year, Duncan usurped Robinson as the main man and they won their first ever franchise title.

In 2003, Duncan had a rookie Manu, sophomore Parker, and 37-year old Robinson. Still defeated the mighty Lakers and won the title.

In 2007, they beat the 61-win Suns led by MVP Steve Nash.

Spurs a stacked team? Are you kidding me?

Duncan is perhaps the 7th greatest player ever. LeBron is definitely greater than him.

Four titles don't lie. Duncan is the best player of the 2000s.

There's nothing wrong with getting 3 guys to come together for less money. It's not our fault your team can't do that. There's nothing in the rules that prohibit that, and it doesn't discredit them either. LeBron was obviously not carried to either of his titles. Free agency is part of the NBA. There is no right way. There is only what works.

So you're saying they were drafted together and had no choice but to play with each other. So they all must be on their rookie contracts at 30+ years old.

Ooh so they're not forced to play with each other. So they all had chances to leave and chose to RE-SIGN and even TOOK LESS MONEY to STAY TOGETHER.

No..they didn't join forces at all.

Why after just two titles are people trying to push Lebron past players who have more titles and more success? When Lebron gets more titles then we can talk but right now Duncan has had the better career.

How are you are going to argue like crazy for a player when it appears you never watched them much or never even bothered to really look into it?
