Very typical Jazz stats. And also typical Jazz team play, I think they went 6-0 at home and 2-5 on the road

3 2006 Miami Heat

vs.

6 2007 Phoenix Suns

Preview: The 2006 Miami Heat went 52-30 in the regular season and then won the NBA Championship. They are the last and lowest seed of all the NBA champions: A 3 seed. That though tells them they have a point to make. They are led by the duo of Wade & O誰eal, one of the best duos we saw in the 00s. Besides for these 2 they had many good veteran role-players. Ultimately they are champions so they will be tough to beat.

The 2007 Phoenix Suns went 61-21 in the regular season and many thought were robbed by the refs in a series against the eventual champion Spurs. In fact, many thought the Suns were a championship caliber team and deserved the championship in 2007. So they are as good as anyone in this tournament. They were led by Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, and Shawn Marion as their all-stars. They also had defensive stopper Raja Bell. Overall, this team is loaded and will not go down without a fight.

Maybe the matchup of the 2nd round. Both the Heat and the Suns advanced easily past the 1st round winning in 5 games each. The Heat were led by O誰eal and Wade, both averaged over 20 points per game. The Suns saw a big series from Nash while both Marion/Amare averaged 20/10 numbers. Both teams here are strong and deserving of the Sweet 16, however only 1 will advance. The Suns need to focus on stopping, they have good defenders like Bell and Marino that maybe up for the task. It will also be a great matchup to see with O誰eal vs. Amare. 2 players who were dominant but did it in different ways. The Heat need to slow the heart of the Suns offense Steve Nash in order to win this series.

Glad to see you didn't give up on this. I've been pretty busy the last couple of days, but I'll try and get caught up on some stats in the next day or two.

This should be a really good series, a final matchup we never saw. Both teams were at their best these years.

Yeah I said I was gone for vacation and would return. Not going to quit on this period. After this matchup I will have wrapped up most of the 2nd round matchups (4 will remain) and will probably take a break before the sweet 16 (giving you time to catchup)

Huge SHOWDOWN in the Sweet 16 Round between the 2004 Detroit Pistons and 2006 Miami Heat. So far all champions advanced to the Sweet 16 so no champion has been eliminated. Of course that will end here. Both these teams were great in real-life and have impressed so far in the sim. Tough to say who will win.

this is a tough one. I think Detroit shuts down Wade and lets Shaq do his thing and takes the series in 7
