and llorente barely played last season, he needs to work his ass off to take the starting place from someone already established

I definitely agree with you.. Records are good and shit, but him playing that many games and minutes can't be good.. He started getting a lot of burn as a youngster so he'll pick up more injuries at a younger age. You know I don't like him nor Barça, but seeing a player like him getting injured constantly is terrible

arsenal is playing some fine football after that loss against aston villa

btw look at today's bayern squad against nurnberg

Neuer - Alaba, Dante, Boateng, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Thiago, Ribéry, Robben, Gotze, Mandzukić.

probably their best starting 11 leave or take thiago for martinez/kroos

i predict a 5/6-0 thumping

LUCCCCCAS PODOLSKII with the double! 3-0 and 25 mins left to go. Loving the movement and pace that Arsenal is playing with. Ramsey is looking terrific and so is Cazorla.

How did they let Bent get that free? One of the times Arsenal is just mind boggling.

Girioud is an animal. No need to go after Michu or Dzeko although a quality backup will be needed.

Still think they need to go after a DM. The Basque god Javi Martinez? They also got Flamini back on a free transfer.

I think with proper people passing him the ball, they'll be great. And yeah a proper DM would be awesome. Ramsey and Wilshere can fit in that role but that's not what they're accustomed to doing. Plus you need quality off the bench as well. I think they should go after someone like Di Maria though, to add that versatility. They're supposedly offering $17 million for Cabaye, so maybe Newcastle would accept that.

Cabaye is too similar to Wilshere and Rasmey though.. And there's Rosiscky who's not a bad player at all.

I actually think Arsenal's wing play is fine with Podolski, Walcott and OX. Podolski is extremely skilled and talented but just seems unmotivated at times, but when he's on he's amazing.

How much would Di Maria cost 30mil+ Euros? Better to go after Javi who'll fit a need and improve the squad significantly. Would instantly become Arsenal's best player.

Also need another starting caliber CB as Vermelean is made out of glass..

PS: I heard PSG is after Cabaye and are offering something like 20mil euros. Doubt Arsenal is going to match that

Yeah PSG is most likely to get Cabaye. And if Arsenal CAN land Javi, then I'm all for it. Would cement our midfield and make us a contending team. It's just the injuries that are becoming so bothersome. With Ox, Arteta, Koscielny, Vermaelen and others back, the squad will only need about 2 or 3 extra players. Adding someone like Javi and another defender would be the ideal transfer close.
