Europa League tonight

Anyone interested besides me?

Fiorentina will play in Ukraine against Dnipro, a very tough match imo.

Mario Gomez is injured, Pepito Rossi is injured, Josip Ilicic is injured.
Rebic is not in the UEFA list.
The only available forward in our squad is a brazilian youngster who's the size of Zola.
Basically we will play with a bunch of trequartista/wingers and no central forward, not even a false nine. Gonna be funny.

Bayern and Dortmund are world class teams, but lets be honest, all the other teams are rubbish.

The 3rd best team, Leverkusen, conceded 4 goals against Moyes' United

Its funny people say that La Liga is a sh*t league because there are only 2 good teams and the rest are rubbish, but its excatly the same with Bundesliga. Meanwhile in PL you see upsets all time time, WBA winning at Old Trafford, who would have thought that?

And you never meet people outside Germany who watch Bundesliga. I cant imagine a American bloke watching Mainz-Freiburg. PL is the NBA of Football, everybody follows the league. People in UK are more interested in La Liga and Serie A than Bundesliga.

Premier League is the best league in the world. How anybody can say Bundesliga is above PL is beyond me.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton are all competing while in Bundesliga there are 2 good teams * Bayern and Dortmund shitting on everybody.

Like someone said above, even Man United who is playing horribly(12th in the PL right now) this start of the season destroyed the third best team in Germany : Bayer Leverkusen.

Hell even La liga I think is stronger than de Bundesliga.

That German above is just a fanboy who is blinded by Bayern success.

Bundesliga is severely underrated.

If Arsenal wins one of them, it probably guarantees them going through. They'll beat Marseille at home for sure, and probably will win against Napoli away. I see them finishing with 14 points (4 wins and 2 draws).

You think you will draw with Dortmund twice?

Have you ever seen Dortmund play at home?

The thing the Premier League has going for it is that there is a little more parity and a little more change in the top 4 - 5 teams in the league. Not that much mind you (The PL has mostly been between Chelsea and United the past 10 years) and less than in the Bundesliga, generally there is a little more variance than Spain for instance.

How that one small distinction gets translated into the PL having the best teams and the most competitive overall league is beyond me. The lower ranked Premier League teams are certainly not much better than those of the other big leagues, and the entertainment value of the football being displayed is pretty dismal.

The international succes of the Premier League has more to do with the prevalence of the English language than the dominant quality of the league.

i bet those guys above me wont survive 90min of osasuna-valladolid or braunschweig-nurnberg

now take two boring teams from EPL for example west ham-stoke... and thats still a watchable game... EPL is much more entertaining and quality...

Still only 23 1/2 years old and quickly establishing himself as the best midfielder at the world's best team if he keeps this up.

good player but i heard he has a poor attitude and is lazy in training

If Silva started or Pelegrini made a change earlier in the game than it MIGHT have been a different story. Everyone knew the winner would be whoever controls the midfield, from minute 1 Bayern had COMPLETE control, Pelegrini really should have taken a striker off for Silva. Negredo's goal was fantastic but lets not act like Bayern didn't take their foot off the pedal and subs were in place. He would have been stranded just like Aguero and Dzeko were in the first half against Bayern because 2 strikers wouldn't work with a team like Bayern imo. Whats the point of 2 strikers if your midfield is being raped and can't even get it to them.

Underrated

I would say its massively overrated. People think its a great league because of Bayern and Dortmund, but in reality its just a copy of La Liga.

Nobody cares Bundesliga outside Germany/Austria. The whole world cares about PL. 2 teams does not make a league. 20 teams does.

bayern bossed barca goat midfield... its not like city stood any chance in that department with lazy yaya and freaking fernandinho... nasri and navas were also terrible...
you could still win even if your midfield is poor-something united has done for years... but pellegrini just keeps getting owned by pep... well so does pretty much anyone... like him or not, with the retiring of sir alex, pep is the number one coach right now.
he is doing experiments with his teams, and they always work in the end... sure it took lahm few games to accommodate to his new position, and there you go last night he put on a clinic... busquets was a total unknown in 2008, pep saw him, gave him chance, started him over yaya toure, and boom few years after that he is the best DM in the world, a WC and EC champion and one of the most known 'unsung heroes'
