Christ, Thiago has all the potential in the world.
I don't understand why he went to Bayern, they are loaded in mid-field hopefully Pep gives him a chance.

You say so many young players never developed, but a lot of them don't have the opportunity either. Bojan is an example of a kid with so much potential (almost Messi like) but just didn't "get it". Confidence and progression is important in soccer, and continually being a student of the game.

You just said that Sergio was the best defensive midfielder in the world? I'd take Martinez, Xabi Alonso, Khedira, Shweinsteiger, and Khedira over him any day of the week.

Hahaha, holy shit.
Martinez & Shwein sure...you named Khedira twice buddy, and he's not better then Busquets. Xabi? I don't think so either...

Even if all 4 of those players were better, Sergio is still top 5 like I said.

Sergio is really good tactically and technically but he's a diving cheating little shit who acts scared of the ball on set pieces and in aerial challenges and I wouldnt want him on my team.

Just literally googled top defensive midfielders, and the first two lists both had Busquets in it. Just some outside sourcing.

I think Man City could beat Barca. What's wrong with that?

Of couse they can beat Barca, a lot of clubs can beat Barcelona.
You said Man City is BETTER then Barcelona, that's a big difference.

Barca is #2 behind Bayern right now in the world, IMO. As far as being the best team is concerned.

I never denied that he's good, I simply explained why I wouldnt want this guy on my team.

of Spanish midfielders I think Xabi Alonso and Javi Martinez are better, but Busquets fits the Barcelona style more and that's what the Spanish NT plays.

Also that list is really old, De Rossi lost his starting spot to Michael Bradley last year, judging on recent performances De Rossi is not one of the top 5 defensive midfielders in the world. Also Essien is one of my favorite players of all time but it's been years since he's been one of the top midfielders and after all those injuries I fear he's past his best. Your lists suck.

Does it really matter? I don't think I've even seen a list without Busquets in it, and I've quickly checked like 7 of them.

Hell, if one of those lists I linked up is older that just solidifies further that Busquets is one of the best defensive midfielders and has been for a few years now.
