Default IYO, was that a relatively easy path to Championship?

Bulls: did not have their best player
Celtics: did not have their best player
Pacers: did not have their 2nd best player
OKC: did not have their 2nd best player
Lakers: did not have their best player
Spurs: best player was gimpy
Denver: did not have one of their best

very unfortunate that we did not get to see most of the best teams at their best.

Yes Heat had an easy path.

My pick-up team at the YMCA could have one a ring last season. Heat got lucky as fuuuu.

That's disrespectful to the Pacers and Spurs IMO. I didn't see any of those teams beating Miami in the East besides Indiana at the start of the season. Then in the west, there was Memphis and the Spurs who met in the WCF so Miami may have been fortunate to avoid Memphis, but the Spurs took them to 7. OKC wouldn't beat Miami, LA (looked good on paper) wasn't going to make the Finals, and the Nuggets weren't going to make the Finals IMO.

in theory an easy path. 27 win streak and 66 win season. But they still played 7 games against the Pacers and the Spurs, pretty funny.

Maybe so but I'm convinced they would've won regardless. The Bucks suck, the Bulls just aren't good enough, Hibbert isn't dominant enough for the Pacers and TP and Ginobili sucked. Even if either LA squad or Memphis made it, Miami still wins. Too athletic and good defensively for the Lakers, flat out better than the Clippers and Memphis doesn't have enough offense

If you play that card, then you should also go Heat with a gimpy Wade.

Wade looked 100% out there when he wanted to. He used that as an excuse when he didn't want to play. Srs.

Wade was definitely injured.

And had the shooters shot like they did in the regular season, Miami would have went through the East easier than they did. None of the 3 point shooters could make anything until the Finals, and even then they were up and down. That's the biggest reason why Miami looked down against Chicago at times, and Indiana. Battier for instance was horrible.

Yea, it had nothing with LeBron's 2nd option being hurt and his 3rd one not showing up for the majority of the ECF and Finals. People don't understand the heavy lifting LeBron did for a lot of these playoffs. I was begging for Birdman over Bosh at points.

Credit to the tough defenses that they played, but LeBron had to carry a heavy load with a injured Wade who looked like a scrub at times (there were even a ton of threads on ISH saying he was done), a inconsistent Bosh who for the most part wasn't that great on offense in the playoffs, inconsistent 3 point shooters, and then a lack of bigs to guard players like Hibbert, West, and Duncan.

I'm not a LeBron stan, but he had to be Superman at times. He even said he had to be like Cleveland LeBron. The team found itself though when their backs were against the wall because he obviously can't do it alone, and they ultimately came together and won at the end. If LeBron doesn't have that 4th Q in game 6, they don't have a chance to tie the game with Allen's shot. LeBron could have been better in the Finals, but he put up big numbers when it mattered.

Go with whatever excuse you want. At the end of the day him and Bosh didn't play up to their standards for most of the playoffs. I cut Wade some slack because he had 2 big Finals games. Bosh, you know the "superstar" doesn't have an excuse. He was crap. And you want to hear the really funny part of all this? The Heat STILL won the title

Praise our LeGod

Op is phaqqot for still bringing this up. This is offseason time, find a different topic to talk about besides Lebron, Kobe, and your sexual fantasies.

agreed for sure What people should be worried about is if Wade actually goes into the next postseason somewhat healthy. If the Heat can win with Wade/Bosh not playing up to par, wait until Wade is healthy
