Default Custom Dirk sneaker with a revolutionary twist..

Has anyone heard of a special Dirk sneaker coming out of Nike?

This engineer that works with Dirk worked with Nike to develop a special shoe with a unique device that prevents ankle sprains. Has anyone heard of this? Any word on a Dirk shoe in the pipeline? It could already be out for all I know..

junwin that wasn't funny at all.

and if you weren't trying to be funny then you're just dumb if you think shoe laces prevent sprained ankles.

You can't prevent sprained ankles, you could lessen the chances.

Shoeslaces do help prevent sprained ankles. The tighter you tie your shoes the more support they provide.

Anything that would prevent ankle sprains would take away a bunch of mobility in your feet. That wouldn't be worth it.

Aside from not playing at all, you can't prevent ankle sprains.

You can help prevent ankle sprains though. Obviously nothing is a guarantee.

I didn't say that you couldn't help. I said you cannot straight out prevent ankle sprains with any shoe.
