you're right, I forgot about that album. But the way I determine an album is above average is by the number of songs I have to skip. Usually almost every song on Nas albums are dope, Life is Good had A TON of skippable tracks, still a good album, but if you listened to Kendricks album I doubt you skipped more than 1 song.
id skip a couple of the early song i guess, but thats it
its one of the few rap albums that i can enjoy, and actually sympathise with what they are saying, and not think that im listening to a moron a lot of the time.
just a dude being honest and open about a tough divorce, and feeling nostalgic for times when he actually fit in.
